SBA 7(a) loans

The SBA's main loan program: long terms and lower down payments for buying a business, buying or refinancing owner-occupied real estate, equipment, working capital, and refinancing expensive debt. The SBA guarantees part of the loan, so banks take risks they otherwise wouldn't.

    Common questions

    • Can an existing SBA loan be refinanced or restructured? Yes in many cases, including changes to guarantors. We've worked on guarantor substitutions.
    • Do I need perfect credit? No, but credit affects which lenders will look at it.
